Madison Police Investigate Armed Robbery on City's East Side

MADISON, Wis. — Detectives with the Madison Police Department are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred on the city's east side on Thursday afternoon. Officers were dispatched to the scene immediately following reports of the incident, establishing a perimeter to search for the suspect.

According to police statements, the suspect entered a local business on the east side, brandished a weapon, and demanded cash from the employees.
