12-Year-Old Medford Boy Foils Home Invasion by Jumping Out Window to Call 911

MEDFORD, NY — A 12-year-old boy is being hailed as a hero after his quick actions foiled a home invasion in Medford, Long Island, on December 24, 2025. The young boy managed to escape his house through a bedroom window and contact emergency services, resulting in the immediate arrest of the intruder.
