Stolen Air Conditioning Unit Leaves Memphis Business Hurting in Summer Heat

MEMPHIS, TN — As summer temperatures begin to rise across the Mid-South, a local Memphis business is dealing with a frustrating and costly setback after their air conditioning unit was stolen from the property.

The theft, which occurred in early June, has left employees and customers sweltering in the summer heat. The business owner, who requested anonymity for security reasons, expressed deep frustration over the incident, noting that replacing commercial HVAC equipment can cost thousands of dollars—an expense that hits small independent businesses particularly hard.
