Orange Mound Armed Robbery and Carjacking Leaves Two Women Shaken

An investigation is currently underway by the Memphis Police Department (MPD) after a terrifying incident in the historic Orange Mound neighborhood left two women deeply shaken. The victims report that they were followed by armed individuals before being robbed and subsequently carjacked.

According to reports from local authorities, the incident occurred during the late evening hours. The victims first noticed a suspicious vehicle tailing them, which escalated quickly when the suspects blocked their path and brandished weapons. Under threat of violence, the victims surrendered their personal belongings and the keys to their vehicle.

Police are actively searching the Orange Mound area for the stolen vehicle and the suspects involved.
