Memphis Police Seek Public's Help to Identify Cell Phone Store Robbery Suspect

MEMPHIS, Tennessee — Investigators with the Memphis Police Department are asking for the community's help in identifying a suspect involved in a recent robbery at a local mobile phone store.

According to police reports, the suspect entered the retail store and demanded inventory from the employees on duty. After obtaining several mobile devices, the suspect fled the scene on foot before officers could arrive.

Store employees were shaken but uninjured during the encounter. Officers are reviewing security camera footage from the store and neighboring businesses to obtain a clearer description of the suspect and locate any potential get-away vehicles.
