Three Arrested, Two Wanted Following Whitehaven Shopping Center Robbery and Multi-State Chase

MEMPHIS, Tennessee — A dramatic armed robbery at a shopping plaza in the Whitehaven area of Memphis escalated into a high-speed, multi-state police chase, leaving three suspects in custody and law enforcement actively searching for two others.

According to the Memphis Police Department, the incident began when a group of suspects targeted a business within the Whitehaven shopping center. The suspects executed a swift robbery before fleeing the scene in a getaway vehicle. Police officers spotted the fleeing vehicle shortly after the heist, initiating a pursuit when the suspects refused to pull over.

The chase quickly crossed state lines as the suspects drove erratically to evade law enforcement. Officers from multiple jurisdictions collaborated to intercept the vehicle, eventually bringing the pursuit to an end. Three individuals were apprehended at the scene of the stop and face multiple charges related to the robbery and subsequent flight.

However, the police confirmed that two additional suspects managed to escape and remain at large.
