Police Seek Suspect in East Memphis Gas Station Robbery

MEMPHIS, TN — The Memphis Police Department (MPD) is actively seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for a robbery at a gas station in East Memphis. The incident, which has sparked local safety concerns, took place on July 23, 2025.

According to preliminary reports released by law enforcement, a male suspect entered the local service station and confronted staff, executing a robbery before fleeing the scene. Officers responded quickly to the call, but the suspect had already departed. Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding businesses in an effort to trace the suspect's movements and establish a clear description.
