Serial Burglary Suspect Arrested After Targeting Same Southwest Miami-Dade Home Three Times

MIAMI, Florida — A serial break-in suspect has been taken into custody by Miami-Dade Police after allegedly targeting and burglarizing the exact same residence in Southwest Miami-Dade on three separate occasions, authorities reported.

According to police arrest records, the suspect repeatedly forced entry into the suburban home over a span of several weeks. The home's occupants, who had installed surveillance cameras after the initial incident, captured clear footage of the suspect returning to the property to commit further thefts. During the final break-in, security alerts notified the homeowner, who immediately contacted 911.

Responding officers established a perimeter around the neighborhood and located the suspect fleeing the scene. He was arrested without further incident. Investigators are currently looking into whether the suspect is linked to other unsolved residential burglaries in the Southwest Miami-Dade area. The suspect faces multiple felony charges, including burglary of an occupied dwelling, grand theft, and criminal mischief.
