SW Miami-Dade Barbershop Owner Shares Emotional Security Video of Break-In

A local small business owner in Southwest Miami-Dade has shared emotional security footage of a break-in at his barbershop, hoping the public can help identify the suspect responsible for stealing cash and professional tools.

The burglary occurred in the early hours of November 7, 2024. The surveillance video captures the suspect breaking through the shop's glass entry, quickly making their way inside, and targeting the registers and workspace. According to the shop's owner, the intruder made off with cash reserves as well as specialized barbering tools that are direct keys to the daily operations of the business.

The owner expressed deep frustration and distress over the theft, explaining that the stolen tools represent years of investment and are costly to replace. "It's emotional because this is how we make our living," the owner shared, pointing out the direct impact on the livelihoods of the barbers working in the shop.
