Two Suspects in Custody Following Burglary at Miami-Dade Pet Store

A commercial burglary at a local Miami-Dade pet store has ended with both suspects behind bars after a brief police pursuit and follow-up investigation.

The incident began on February 18, 2026, when authorities responded to an active alarm at the pet store. Upon arriving, officers discovered that the business had been breached and property, including high-value items, had been targeted. Police managed to quickly apprehend one suspect, while a second suspect, identified as a female accomplice, managed to evade capture and flee the scene, triggering a wider search.
