Multiple Arrests Made, Suspects Extradited in Miami-Dade Smoke Shop Armed Robbery and Murder Case

MIAMI-DADE, FL — A long-running investigation into a deadly armed robbery at a Miami-Dade smoke shop has culminated in multiple arrests and extraditions, highlighting a coordinated effort by law enforcement agencies across state lines.

The incident began in July 2025, when an armed robbery at a local smoke shop escalated into a homicide. Shortly after the initial crime, two suspects fled the state in an attempt to evade capture. Following an intensive multi-agency investigation, the men were tracked down and captured in South Dakota. They were subsequently extradited back to Miami-Dade County to face formal murder and armed robbery charges.
