Bay City Man Charged in Midland County Armed Robbery; Getaway Driver Also Apprehended

MIDLAND COUNTY, MI — Law enforcement officials in Midland County have arrested and charged two suspects in connection with a recent armed robbery that occurred in the region. A Bay City man is currently being held in the Midland County Jail on a $1 million bond, while a Midland resident has been charged as the alleged getaway driver.

According to court documents and police reports, the primary suspect from Bay City allegedly carried out the armed robbery, threatening victims before fleeing the scene. Officers quickly mobilized and tracked the getaway vehicle, which was reportedly operated by the Midland resident. The driver was apprehended shortly after and charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Both suspects are scheduled to appear in Midland County District Court for their preliminary hearings in the coming weeks. Police state that the investigation remains active as they gather additional evidence and speak with witnesses.
