Burglary Suspect Charged Following Police-Involved Shooting in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, WI — Charges have been filed against a suspect following an incident that culminated in a police-involved shooting. The confrontation began when officers responded to reports of an active burglary in progress.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, officers arriving at the scene encountered a male suspect inside the premises. The situation rapidly escalated, leading to shots being fired by law enforcement. The suspect was injured during the exchange and was transported to a local hospital for treatment under police guard.
