Milwaukee Police Search for Armed Suspect Following Gas Station Robbery

MILWAUKEE, WI — Detectives from the Milwaukee Police Department are actively searching for a suspect who carried out an armed robbery at a local gas station convenience store on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police reports, the suspect entered the retail establishment under the guise of being a customer. After approaching the counter, the individual produced a handgun, brandished it at the store clerk, and demanded money from the cash register. Fearful for their safety, the employee complied with the demands, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash.

Suspect Description

Investigators have released surveillance images of the suspect, describing him as a male wearing dark clothing, a hood, and a face covering designed to conceal his identity. The suspect fled the scene on foot immediately after the robbery. K-9 units were deployed to track the suspect, but the trail was lost a few blocks from the gas station.
