Robbery Chaos in Missoula: Suspect Tases Store Staff Before Fleeing

MISSOULA, MT — A local retail store became the scene of a chaotic robbery after a suspect used a taser on staff members to facilitate a quick escape. The incident occurred on June 4, 2024, prompting a swift response from local law enforcement officers.

Witnesses reported that the suspect attempted to leave the store with unpaid merchandise when they were confronted by store employees. Rather than complying, the suspect produced a handheld taser and discharged it against the staff members, causing immediate pain and disorientation. The suspect then fled the premises on foot, leaving the victims and bystanders shaken.
