Armed Suspect Arrested After $9,000 Jewelry Store Robbery Attempt in South Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tennessee โ€” Metro Nashville Police have arrested an armed robbery suspect who allegedly targeted a jewelry store on Nolensville Pike in South Nashville and pulled a gun on employees who tried to stop him.

The incident occurred on Saturday, April 26, 2025, when the suspect entered the store and attempted to steal approximately $9,000 worth of jewelry. Alert store employees recognized the threat and successfully intervened to block the theft. In response, the suspect brandished a handgun and threatened the workers before fleeing the scene.

Following a rapid investigation by South Precinct detectives, the suspect was identified and arrested on April 29, 2025. He has been charged with aggravated robbery and felony theft. Police commended the quick thinking of the employees but reiterated the danger of confronting armed individuals.
