Man Accused of Stealing $5,000 in Supplies from Nashville Home Depot Stores Over 15 Days

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Metro Nashville Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly targeted multiple Home Depot stores across the city, stealing nearly $5,000 worth of supplies in a span of just 15 days.

According to police reports, the suspect carried out the thefts between early and mid-May 2026. The individual reportedly entered the retail locations, loaded carts with high-value electrical, plumbing, and building materials, and walked past cash registers without paying.

Loss prevention officers at several locations noticed a pattern and collaborated with police to compile security footage. Investigators believe the same individual is responsible for all the incidents, using a consistent method of operation and driving a getaway vehicle parked near the garden center or main exits.

MNPD has released surveillance images of the suspect and is asking the public for assistance in identifying him. Anyone with information regarding the thefts or the suspect's identity is asked to call Metro Police or submit a tip through Nashville Crime Stoppers.
