Violent Home Invasion in Nashville Leaves Family Restrained in Zip Ties

A quiet Nashville neighborhood was shattered by violence in the early hours of Tuesday, June 9, 2026, when an armed home invasion left a family, including young children, restrained and traumatized. According to initial reports, multiple suspects forced their way into the residence under the cover of darkness, brandishing weapons and demanding cash and valuables.

Upon entering the home, the intruders immediately confronted the parents. To prevent them from resisting or calling for help, the suspects used plastic zip ties to bind the hands of the parents as well as their children. The victims were held at gunpoint while the perpetrators systematically ransacked the home, searching for safes, cash, and high-value electronics.

Neighbors reported hearing unusual disturbances but did not witness the entry. After the suspects fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle, one of the family members managed to free themselves from the restraints and immediately dialed 911. Officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department arrived shortly thereafter, establishing a perimeter and launching an investigation.

Paramedics treated the family at the scene for minor injuries and severe shock.
