1 dead after 2 ‘suspected robbers’ shot on Murfreesboro Pike, Metro police say

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Metro Nashville police are investigating after two suspected robbers were shot, leaving one dead on Murfreesboro Pike on Saturday afternoon, July 12, 2025.

According to first responders, the shooting occurred in the busy commercial and transit corridor of Murfreesboro Pike.
