Newark Police Search for Four Suspects in Jewelry Store Smash-and-Grab

NEWARK, New Jersey — The Newark Police Department is actively searching for four individuals wanted in connection with a daytime smash-and-grab robbery at a local jewelry store. The incident occurred during regular business hours, causing panic among shoppers and employees.

According to authorities, the four suspects entered the establishment and immediately began shattering glass display cases using heavy tools. Within minutes, the group grabbed a large quantity of high-value jewelry and fled the scene in a waiting vehicle. Fortunately, no employees or patrons were injured during the quick and violent robbery.

Investigators are analyzing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding streets to identify the getaway vehicle and the suspects, who were described as wearing masks and dark clothing.
