New Orleans Police Search for Suspect Who Robbed Business in Werewolf Mask

The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who utilized an unusual disguise during a commercial robbery on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

According to police reports, a male suspect entered a local business wearing a werewolf mask to conceal his identity. Once inside, the masked intruder confronted employees and demanded cash from the register. Fearing for their safety, the store staff complied with the demands, handing over an undisclosed amount of cash.

After securing the money, the suspect quickly fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported during the encounter, though the staff members were left shaken by the incident. NOPD detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding businesses to track the suspect's movements before and after the robbery.
