Three Suspects Sought After High-Value Robbery at Gucci Boutique in NYC's Meatpacking District

MANHATTAN, NY โ€” A manhunt is underway in New York City after a trio of suspects targeted a high-end luxury boutique in the Meatpacking District, making off with an undisclosed amount of expensive merchandise.

According to police reports, the incident occurred on February 19, 2024, at the Gucci retail store located in one of Manhattan's premier shopping areas. Three suspects entered the boutique, quickly gathered high-value itemsโ€”including designer handbags and luxury apparelโ€”and executed a coordinated escape before store security or law enforcement could intervene.

The Meatpacking District is known for its upscale fashion houses, trendy restaurants, and heavy foot traffic. The boldness of the daytime heist has raised concerns among local retailers and residents alike. Detectives from the NYPD are actively gathering security footage from the store's interior and neighboring street-facing cameras to track the suspects' escape route.
