Federal agents have arrested the alleged getaway driver involved in a highly coordinated, high-value theft of collectible Pokémon cards in New York City, valued at approximately $116,000.

The heist, which shocked the local hobby community, targeted valuable, graded trading cards that have seen a massive surge in market value over recent years. According to court documents, the suspect acted as the "wheelman," waiting in a vehicle near the target location to facilitate a rapid escape after his co-conspirators seized the valuable inventory.

Following a detailed federal investigation tracing communication logs and security footage, the suspect was apprehended and charged with conspiracy to commit grand larceny and transportation of stolen property. Law enforcement continues to track the distribution channels used to sell these highly sought-after collectibles on the secondary market.
