Fake Cleaner Wanted in $122,000 Luxury Apartment Heist in Manhattan

NEW YORK CITY, NY — New York City Police are searching for a woman who allegedly disguised herself as a cleaner to gain access to a luxury apartment, stealing valuables worth approximately $122,000.

The heist occurred inside a residential building where the suspect managed to convince staff or residents of her credentials. Once inside the apartment, she systematically searched the premises, taking high-end jewelry, cash, and luxury accessories before exiting unnoticed.

The NYPD has warned residents to verify the credentials of any home service workers and notify building security of unscheduled visits. Police have distributed surveillance images of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to contact investigators immediately.
