Police Investigate Home Break-in Belonging to NBA Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

The Nichols Hills Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at the residence of Oklahoma City Thunder star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on October 30, 2025. Officers were dispatched to the property around 7:45 p.m. following reports of a break-in. According to police reports, the suspect or suspects had already fled the scene by the time law enforcement arrived, and no occupants were inside the home at the time of the incident.

Gilgeous-Alexander was away from home playing in a home game at the Paycom Center against the Washington Wizards when the burglary occurred. Commenting on the incident, the NBA star reassured fans and the public that his family was unharmed, stating, "Long story short, everybody is safe." The investigation remains highly active as detectives review security footage and gather evidence to identify those responsible. No arrests have been made as of early November 2025.
