Two Arrested Following Bank Robbery at Chartway Federal Credit Union in Norfolk

A rapid response by the Norfolk Police Department led to the arrest of two men shortly after they allegedly robbed the Chartway Federal Credit Union. The incident, which unfolded on Monday afternoon, drew a significant law enforcement presence to the financial institution as officers secured the area and began their investigation.

According to preliminary reports, the suspects entered the credit union and demanded money before fleeing the scene. Officers patrolling the vicinity spotted individuals matching the suspect descriptions and successfully detained them without further incident. The stolen funds were reportedly recovered during the arrest.
