Surveillance Images Released as Norfolk Police Search for Commercial Burglary Suspect

NORFOLK, VA — Norfolk detectives are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an after-hours commercial burglary at a local business. The police department has released several security photographs hoping that someone will recognize the individual.

According to police reports, the break-in took place on February 6, 2024. The suspect is accused of forcing entry into a business premises after normal operating hours. Surveillance cameras inside the store captured the individual moving through the building, searching cash drawers, and removing valuable items. The suspect then exited the property through a rear door, escaping on foot.

The released surveillance images show the suspect wearing distinctive clothing, including a hooded sweatshirt and specific footwear. Detectives are urging local business owners along the corridor to review their own camera feeds from that night for any additional sightings of the suspect.
