North Charleston Man Arrested for June Burglaries at Rivers Avenue Businesses
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. โ Investigators with the North Charleston Police Department have arrested a local resident in connection with burglaries targeting two businesses on Rivers Avenue. The break-ins occurred during the summer of 2024, and the suspect was arrested in October 2025 after a detailed investigation.
Rivers Avenue Commercial Properties Targeted
The incidents took place on June 1, 2024, when police responded to alarms at two separate commercial properties located on the busy Rivers Avenue corridor. Responding officers discovered signs of forced entry, shattered glass, and ransacked offices. Valuables, including electronics and cash drawer contents, were reported stolen from both sites.
Forensic Evidence Leads to Arrest
After a lengthy investigation that involved analyzing surveillance videos and processing forensic evidence collected at the scenes, detectives identified the suspect. On October 13, 2025, authorities successfully located and arrested the North Charleston man. He has been charged with multiple counts of third-degree burglary and petit larceny.
