Second Oakland Convenience Store Heavily Damaged in Overnight Vehicle Ramming Burglaries

A second Oakland convenience store was targeted and heavily damaged overnight in what investigators believe is a coordinated ramming burglary spree. The pattern matches another nearby storefront break-in that occurred during the same overnight period, highlighting an organized effort by local burglary crews operating in tandem.

Surveillance cameras captured the moment the suspects rammed a vehicle repeatedly into the storefront, destroying the metal security shutters and breaking through the main entrance. The impact caused significant structural compromise to the facade of the building. The burglars then entered the store, targeting the checkout counter and storage areas for quick theft before abandoning the ramming vehicle or fleeing the scene in another car.
