Ocala Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Interfaith Thrift Shop Burglar

The Ocala Police Department is calling on the public to help identify a suspect involved in a commercial burglary at the Interfaith Thrift Shop in Ocala. The incident occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, August 24, 2025.

According to Ocala Police investigators, the suspect gained unauthorized entry into the thrift store, located at 718 N. Pine Avenue. Once inside, the suspect selected and stole multiple items of value before fleeing the scene. The store, which operates to support local community assistance initiatives, sustained minor property damage during the break-in.

Authorities have released several security surveillance images of the suspect. The individual appears to be a male, and detectives are hoping the public can help identify him based on his physical features or clothing. The Ocala Police Department has officially registered the investigation under case number 202500131074.

Law enforcement officials are asking anyone with information regarding the crime or the suspect's identity to contact Detective Collazo at 352-369-7000.
