Ocala Police Seek Public Assistance to Identify Home Depot Theft Suspect

OCALA, Florida — The Ocala Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a grand theft incident at a local Home Depot retail location.

According to reports from law enforcement, the unidentified individual entered the establishment, located along Southwest College Road, and selected several high-value merchandise items. Surveillance footage shows the suspect leaving the retail area with a cart filled with unpaid goods, including multiple high-end power tools and construction materials, bypassing the checkout lanes entirely.

Surveillance Footage Released

Investigators have released security images of the male suspect in hopes that a member of the community can help identify him. The suspect was seen wearing casual clothing and appeared to flee the parking lot in a vehicle shortly after the incident.
