Police Investigate ATM Theft Spree Targeting Oklahoma City Metro and Moore

OKLAHOMA CITY — Law enforcement agencies in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area are investigating a series of early morning ATM thefts that targeted businesses in both Oklahoma City and the neighboring city of Moore.

According to court documents and police reports, the theft spree involved multiple suspect vehicles and individuals working in coordination to rip ATMs from their foundations. The Oklahoma City Police Department, alongside Moore Police, responded to several alarms at local retail and financial locations where the ATM burglaries occurred.

As the investigation progressed, News9 reported that a vehicle allegedly involved in the metro-area ATM burglaries was successfully located by officers. Furthermore, KFOR confirmed that police have arrested one suspect in connection with a stolen ATM. The arrest has provided new details for the investigation, although authorities believe several other accomplices remain at large.

The multi-agency investigation is ongoing as detectives review surveillance footage from affected businesses and analyze evidence gathered from the recovered vehicle to track down the remaining suspects.
