Police investigate break-in at southeast OKC Dollar General

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma City Police Department is actively investigating a commercial break-in that occurred at a Dollar General store located in the southeast portion of the city. Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the individuals responsible for the forced entry and subsequent theft.

According to preliminary reports, officers were dispatched to the retail location early Thursday morning following an activated security alarm. Upon arrival, responding units discovered signs of forced entry, indicating that suspects had breached the building to gain access to merchandise and cash registers.

Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding businesses. Detectives hope to secure clear images of the perpetrators or any getaway vehicles used during the incident.
