Game Over: Omaha Police Arrest Suspect in $30,000 Storage Unit Video Game Theft

OMAHA, Nebraska — A massive collector's inventory of video games and hardware has been recovered after Omaha Police arrested a suspect accused of burglarizing a local storage unit. The stolen collection, valued at approximately $30,000, consisted of rare vintage games, modern consoles, and limited-edition merchandise.

The victim discovered the burglary after finding the lock on their storage unit cut and the contents cleared out. Recognizing the niche nature of the stolen goods, the owner immediately monitored local online marketplaces, where they spotted several of their unique items listed for sale shortly after the theft.
