Pensacola Police Arrest 34-Year-Old Suspect Connected to Three Store Robberies with Fake Gun
PENSACOLA, Fla. โ A 34-year-old Pensacola man has been arrested and charged in connection with a string of commercial robberies after allegedly targeting three local stores while armed with a fake gun.
Local law enforcement officers responded to the successive robberies, which occurred within a short timeframe. In each instance, the suspect entered the business, brandished what appeared to be a firearm, and demanded cash from store employees before fleeing the scene.
Following a rapid response and investigation, officers located the suspect and took him into custody without further incident. Upon his arrest, police discovered that the weapon used during the crime spree was a replica or imitation firearm rather than a functioning handgun.
The suspect faces multiple counts of armed robbery and is being held at the local detention facility. Police officials stressed that brandishing any realistic replica of a weapon carries the same severe legal consequences and safety risks as using a real firearm.
