Northern Liberties Smoke Shop Burglary: Suspect Steals 170 Vape Pens

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department has released surveillance footage of a break-in at a smoke shop located in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. The incident resulted in the theft of 170 vape pens, and authorities are now appealing to the public for help identifying the individual responsible.

The Smoke Shop Break-In

The commercial burglary occurred in the early hours of the morning when the business was closed. Security cameras captured a lone male suspect forcing entry into the smoke shop. Once inside, the suspect targeted display shelves, quickly gathering 170 vape pens of various brands before exiting the premises. The entire break-in was recorded from multiple angles inside and outside the store.

Police Appeal and Investigation

Detectives have distributed stills and video clips from the security system showing the suspect's face and distinctive clothing. Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the individual to contact the police immediately. The business owner has cooperated fully with the police, providing inventory details to assist in tracking any resold items in the community.
