Police Search for 5 Suspects After Commercial Robbery and Sexual Assault in Spring Garden

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department has launched a major investigation and is actively seeking the public’s help to identify five suspects following a commercial robbery and sexual assault at a business in the Spring Garden neighborhood.

According to police reports, the incident occurred on April 27, 2026, when a group of five individuals entered the business premises. During the encounter, the suspects proceeded to rob the establishment and subjected an individual inside the business to a sexual assault before fleeing the scene.

Detectives are currently reviewing area surveillance cameras and gathering evidence from the scene to identify the group. Police have released descriptions of the five suspects and are urging business owners and residents in the Spring Garden area to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
