Man Impersonating Police Officer Forces Entry, Ties Up Victim in Tacony Home Invasion

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a brazen and unsettling home invasion in the city's Tacony neighborhood, where a homeowner was tied up by a suspect posing as a police officer.

According to investigators, the incident occurred on the morning of September 12, 2025. The suspect, wearing clothing and gear designed to resemble a police uniform, approached the residential property and gained entry under false pretenses.
