Police Search for Intruder Who Exposed Himself to Woman in Her Bed on New Year's Eve

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department has launched an investigation and is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who broke into a local residence on New Year's Eve and exposed himself to a sleeping resident.

According to police reports, the disturbing incident took place in the early morning hours of December 31, 2023. A female resident woke up in her bedroom to find an unknown male intruder standing near her bed and exposing himself. When the victim confronted the intruder, he fled the home in an unknown direction.

Responding officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Investigators are currently reviewing neighborhood security cameras and analyzing physical evidence to identify the intruder. Authorities urge anyone with information or surveillance footage from the area on New Year's Eve to contact the Special Victims Unit immediately.
