Thieves Use Pickup Truck to Steal ATM from Fishtown Gas Station

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a bold commercial burglary in the city's Fishtown neighborhood, where a group of thieves successfully stole an automated teller machine (ATM) using a pickup truck.

According to preliminary police reports, the incident occurred early in the morning at the KARCO gas station located in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. Surveillance footage and initial witness statements indicate that a group of suspects arrived at the service station in a pickup truck. Using the vehicle, the suspects managed to forcibly detach and secure the ATM, loading the heavy cash machine onto the truck bed before fleeing the area in an unknown direction.
