Armed Smash-and-Grab Robbery at Philadelphia Mills Mall Zales Outlet Leaves Eight Rolexes Stolen

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Police are searching for two armed suspects who executed a rapid and violent smash-and-grab robbery at the Zales Outlet store inside the Philadelphia Mills Mall on December 14, 2024.

According to investigators, the two suspects entered the store armed and carrying a sledgehammer. In under a minute, the thieves used the sledgehammer to smash open glass display cases containing high-value timepieces. The suspects managed to steal eight Rolex watches before fleeing the scene.

Law enforcement officials released descriptions of the suspects and are reviewing mall surveillance footage to track their escape route. No injuries were reported among store staff or customers during the brief but intense encounter.
