Phoenix Homeowner Shoots Alleged Intruder During Home Invasion Near 51st and Southern Avenues

PHOENIX, Arizona — A homeowner took defensive action early Monday morning, shooting an alleged intruder during an active home invasion in a residential neighborhood near the intersection of 51st Avenue and Southern Avenue.

Phoenix Police officers were dispatched to the residence following reports of a break-in and subsequent gunfire.
