Six Teenagers Charged Following Disturbance and Vandalism at Pittsburgh Sephora Store

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania — Six teenagers are facing multiple charges following a chaotic disturbance and significant vandalism inside a Sephora cosmetics store in Pittsburgh. The incident, which caused widespread disruption, resulted in approximately $30,000 in property damage and stolen merchandise.

According to the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, officers were dispatched to the retail store following reports of a large group of youths acting disruptively. Witnesses reported that the teenagers entered the store, began knocking over display cases, shattering glass shelves, and destroying high-end cosmetic products. The group also allegedly snatched products from the shelves before fleeing the scene as police sirens approached.

Responding officers were able to locate and detain six individuals matching descriptions provided by store employees and security footage. All six teenagers have been formally charged with criminal mischief, vandalism, and retail theft. Store management is currently working to assess the full extent of the damages and clean up the debris. Police continue to investigate the incident to determine if additional individuals were involved in the disturbance.
