Pittsburgh Police Search for Armed Suspect After Squirrel Hill Home Invasion

PITTSBURGH, PA — Detectives with the Pittsburgh Police Department are actively searching for an armed suspect following a terrifying home invasion in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood on Wednesday.

According to initial police reports, the incident occurred on December 10, 2025. An unidentified suspect, who was reportedly armed, forced entry into a residential property in the area. Once inside, the suspect confronted the occupants before fleeing the scene.
