Two Suspects Arrested in Connection with Armed Robbery of Pleasanton Smoke Shop

PLEASANTON, California — Authorities have announced the successful arrest of two suspects wanted in connection with the armed robbery of the Fireball Smoke Shop in Pleasanton. The joint operation, involving local detectives and out-of-state law enforcement agencies, has culminated in the booking of the suspects on severe felony charges.

The armed robbery took place on the night of Monday, March 2, 2026, in a commercial plaza along the 1600 block of Second Street. Police reports indicate that a masked male suspect entered the business, brandished a handgun at the cashier, and demanded cash from the register. After obtaining an undisclosed sum of money, the gunman exited the store and fled in a waiting vehicle driven by an accomplice. No employees were physically harmed during the encounter, though the staff was left deeply shaken by the threat of violence.
