Security Footage Captures Suspect in Portland Art and Jewelry Boutique Burglary

PORTLAND, Ore. — A neighborhood art and jewelry boutique in Portland became the latest target in a series of local business break-ins early Monday morning. Surveillance cameras captured clear footage of a suspect during the heist, which store owners and police hope will lead to an arrest.

The burglary occurred in the early hours of Monday, February 9, 2026. According to preliminary reports, the intruder gained entry to the shop by breaching one of the access points. Once inside, the suspect bypassed secondary security features to target high-value display cases containing hand-crafted jewelry and unique local art pieces.

Security footage shows the suspect moving quickly through the store, utilizing a flashlight to identify items of value before fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of merchandise. The store's owner discovered the break-in later that morning and immediately notified the Portland Police Bureau.
