PORT ST. LUCIE, FL โ Detectives with the Port St. Lucie Police Department are conducting an active investigation into a series of commercial burglaries that occurred at a local shopping center. The incident target was the Shoppes at Torino Plaza, located in the 5300 block of Northwest Torino Parkway.
Salon Burglary Alarm Alerts Police
Police officers were dispatched to the commercial plaza in the early hours of May 27, 2026, following a burglar alarm trigger at a beauty salon. Upon inspecting the site, officers discovered that five other neighboring businesses had also been broken into, bringing the total number of burglarized establishments to six.
Intruder Caught on Video
Investigators have recovered and are currently reviewing security video from the salon. The surveillance footage shows an individual inside the business. Strangely, police reported that there were no signs of forced entry at the salon, indicating the suspect likely found an unlocked entrance or used a specialized tool to gain access. The total value of stolen cash and property across all affected businesses is estimated at $7,500. Anyone with information regarding the break-ins is encouraged to contact local authorities.
