Port St. Lucie Restaurants Hit by Burglaries: Golden Corral and Wings Bomb Targeted
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL โ The Port St. Lucie Police Department has been actively investigating multiple commercial burglaries targeting local restaurants. These incidents, which occurred at different times, highlight the ongoing security challenges faced by commercial establishments in the area.
Rooftop Break-In Causes Damage at Golden Corral
In April 2026, officers responded to an early-morning commercial alarm at the Golden Corral restaurant located at 651 NW St. Lucie West Blvd. Upon arriving on the scene, police discovered extensive physical damage to the property. The suspect had broken into the restaurant by cutting a hole through the building's roof, in addition to smashing a front window and attempting forced entry at the rear door. Detective units are investigating the extent of property damage and stolen items.
Wings Bomb Burgled by Suspect with Distinctive Tattoos
In a separate restaurant burglary that occurred in July 2024, police sought public assistance in identifying a suspect who broke into the "Wings Bomb" restaurant at 980 SW Bayshore Blvd. Around 3:00 a.m. on July 13, 2024, the suspect entered the restaurant and stole approximately $100 in cash from the register.
Surveillance footage captured the suspect, described as a white male in his late 30s or 40s with a receding hairline, short hair, a light beard, and distinctive tattoos on both his legs and back. Port St. Lucie detectives are asking anyone with information regarding either incident to contact the police department or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers.
