Pizza Delivery Man Robbed at Gunpoint by Masked Men in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — A pizza delivery man was the victim of an armed robbery in Providence, Rhode Island, after being confronted by two men wearing ski masks and brandishing a firearm.

The incident occurred while the delivery driver was attempting to deliver an order to a local address. As he exited his vehicle, two masked individuals approached him, pulled out a handgun, and demanded his money, personal belongings, and the food. Fearing for his life, the driver complied with their demands. The two suspects then fled the scene on foot with the stolen goods.

Providence police officers responded to the scene shortly after the victim called 911. Officers searched the surrounding neighborhood, but no suspects matching the description were immediately located. The police are continuing to investigate the robbery and are warning delivery drivers to remain vigilant when making drop-offs, especially during late-night hours.
