Suspects Flee Empty-Handed After Early Morning Raleigh Home Invasion

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating an early morning home invasion that ended with the suspects fleeing empty-handed and no injuries reported.

According to police reports, the incident occurred in the early morning hours when multiple suspects gained entry into a residential home. The occupants of the residence were home at the time of the break-in. Despite a confrontation, the suspects did not take any items from the property before fleeing the scene.

Emergency services responded to the location immediately following a 911 call from the residents. Officers searched the surrounding area for the suspects, but no arrests have been made. The victims were evaluated by emergency medical personnel at the scene and did not require hospitalization.

The Raleigh Police Department is working to determine a motive for the break-in and is looking into whether the home was targeted. Detectives are canvassing the neighborhood for witness accounts and checking for surveillance video from nearby homes to identify the suspects.
